Awesome that you're gonna have a great-grandbaby, and also that you have a lovely jacuzzi to relax in :)  Sorry to hear about your niece, but she took fast action to prevent this from happening to others.

I am so sorry and so glad of this post. Happy about you grand-baby. I am sad and angry about what happened to your niece. Attacks of any sort on others is an outrage. That is so sad, we should have associations. We all should be glad to step in a break the head of a villain of that sort. Sorry I get carried away. I hear you my people would have Hell to pay too.

You really have a variety of topics in this one.  First of all, congrats on the great-grandchild.  I have found out from personal experiece that it is really "GREAT."

Would you believe that I was accosted in that way in 1948.  I was only eleven and I took out running, and I could run fast.  Daddy wasn't home but our neighbor man went looking for him with his shotgun but he had gotten away.  A day or so later the same thing happened to a school friend of mine.  Police started hanging around the area before and after school and it stopped.

I know I should not have left blogit even for a week, strange things happen people become great-grandmothers almost like butterflies emerging from  chrysalises.

I would hate to see that weight of snow on my greenhouses or tunnel. Icicles are bad enough when they disconnect and fall. Perhaps you could put your fence a bit farther back next time.

Sorry to hear about your railing, and your niece! Too bad her assailant wasn't standing under that ice and snow when it fell . . . !

Hi there, Great-Grandma-to-be - and congrats to the happy young couple! Sorry about the gallery, but I'm sure it'll be rebuilt stronger than ever!

The worst thing, Pat_B, is that when she told him off,

he yelled at her 'What gives you the right to yell at me like that??!"  Imagine! EL sicko!!

She's already ok with it by now, Sam, lol!

But it's for sure she won't want to be called 'granny'!!

Way back when, guys used to whistle on the street

or say something like "Hey, Baby..." but there was no obscenity, and it wasn't exactly disrespectful. Even so, good girls were supposed to turn their noses up and act insulted. In those days, men were men and not obscene jackasses. I'm glad to read your post, and look at the happy kids, infanticipating already. Being G-Gma is so cool!

What a horrible experience for her! I am glad that she kept her senses about her and followed up with a public lashing so to speak! There is never any situation when one person can inflict their will upon another! You are right it is happening more frequently! So sorry about the gallery! But, it will free up garage space and I mean that sincerely since I am in the garage mode right now! Congratulations to the happy couple too! I feel for your daughter but she will be okay with it! She just needs to get over the shock of it all! sam
