Awwww....that gallery was so nice too. I'm hoping our big snows are pretty much over. We still have huge piles of dirty snow all over town but they are pretty much out of the way.

Then I arrived in Blogit at the right time, bro.
I'm from the 'Make Love, Not War' generation! Yes, I know if you were in good shape you'd have probably been here the next day!

Actually I have the material to fix it already, and my sons and friends
will do the repairs, Naut, so not worth claiming from the insurance. LOL - okay, now that I get the gold star, I'll desist!

No choice about waiting, Jimmy. Too much snow to get near it yet.
Could you do me a favor please and tell both Morpheus and the Sandman they ARE fired? Can't tell them myself because they rarely come around here!!

I feel the same way about Blogit, Kabu, and I was surprised when I read
the Blogger's review. I checked the date and it was written in 2006. Watch those Demons and Gnomes don't get to partying too hard. It's we humans who have to clean up their mess!!

Nope - they dip into our bank accounts.
I though it was out there somewhere when I noticed the time difference.

LOL - no doubt CCT, you probably would make a fortune!
We had so much snow just within a couple of days that things backed up. My roof is covered in tin, and the slope is quite steep. Even trying to rake it off would be a problem and there's nowhere for it to fall except on the gallery. Usually it somes down bit by bit, so no problem. Sorry about the frozen smile - it was warm when it left here!!

Love cats, but not many come around here with all the doggies loose.
I only joined Blogit in 2008, and I couldn't remember seeing any of the hassles the blogger was talking about. I've always found it to be a warm, friendly community.

I wash down my vitamins with orange juice, Pat_B
I didn't know heating could be installed in steps and sidewalks. I doubt it could have kept up with the snow we had here.

Yep - it was as bad, but nothing that can't be fixed eventually.
That's what the blogger was saying too. It must have all happened before I got here.

I'm sorry about your balcony, If I was not in such bad shape Id come and fix it for you. I've been here in Blogit since 2003 and always seemed to be a war going on but don't remember the names now.

I guess it was inevitable in the end! I was wondering if your home insurance would pay for the damage, but it probaly doesn't...Oh, and even though you keep insisting that your wrong answer is correct, you shall have a gold star...

Sorry to hear about your railing. I guess your best bet would be to wait for the warmer weather to really get out there and evaluate the situation. And doesn't Morpheus work for The Sandman? Should they both be fired?

sorry about all the snow troubles luv....we need to shovel some but it is
warm here today and I am guessing that it will be serious thaw if this keeps up. I can feel see my Gnomes smiling across at your Demons. LOL.....
I think blogit is what we make of it ourselves, and if we keep from arguments and snapping at each other, which seems to be how it is now, it is a community that is a part of my daily life. i love my friends here....you are very special to us all.

I hope that everything pans out well...Blogit's based in California. When I first paid, I paid by check and mailed it there. I forget the town, and the website no longer accepts that form of payment.

Adnohr Well for a start try and thaw your smiles before you send them, I could not see one today. One would have thought there would have been something to spray on a roof which would stop the snow from piling up like this. Or even a contractor with a scraping instrument no different from cleaning windows. I wish I were young again I could make a fortune in winter round your parts.

Heated roofs and walks and all...? I hope you like cats.
Fella in our neighborhood, when I was a kid, had a heated driveway. No snow, but had to shovel the cats off.
Blogit does go through changes, to be sure, both among the writers and the management, which sends checks from Portland, Oregon, or did the last couple of times I collected my pennies.

Black coffee and a bit of orange juice for mental energy...
A heated roof? Brilliant, especially in your high snow area. I'm debating with myself on the issue of heating the front steps & sidewalk, since they need to be replaced eventually anyway - might be a selling point when I'm ready to move to a place all on one level.

How sad that you had to sustain more damage! I hope when the light comes it's not as bad as the sound led you to think. I believe Blogit is based in California! I have a one hour difference when I post to my blogs or comment on others! When I joined Blogit in 2007 it really was an awful site. I didn't know if I was going to stay! The comments and all out assault on other bloggers was inane and it had been going on for some time. It seems by 2008 the site took a turn for the better and it is what we have now! sam
