my mother was bipolar,
my sister and i, when we look back, we say we had to walk on egg shells, thats how it felt living with her. we grew up wishing we were invisable.

eventually my first husband wa diagnosed bi polar but that was about
10 years after we were divorced. A lot of behaviours suddenly made sense and I was able to release so much guilt. I really hoped that he could too...but that, I never found out.
