Decades ago my friend Susan left hers in her car. Maintenance uses some kind of metal hook (maybe a hanger) to open it love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

oh yeah...new cars are designed so you cant do that without totally messing up your car....so i have a spare key

Yep, I did too once, quite a while ago. I can't remember the details, but I do recall that the old coat hanger trick worked well for me. But I understand that it's apparently more difficult with today's cars - I know I'd have a hell of a time with mine...
