its not them waiting to buy the house so there is no rush if it was them buying one they would feel the same way

A part of me can't believe that you're not almost completely numb to this situation by now! That might actually help to deflect some of those migraines! Try to pretend that the worst is already over, and simply go on to other things! You may get surprised one day . . . !
