My Mom passed away back in '81...
We have a picture of her holding a bouquet of flowers and smiling..little did we know she'd be gone in a month..gone but never ever forgotten.

I loved my kids. Didn't stop me from getting tired of them at times.
So when they got tired of me, I understood. These days it makes me very happy they still want to spend a little time with me on the phone from long distance, and we can still laugh together about things. I know your dil & her mom will appreciate your thoughtfulness.
