I missed this yesterday because of my doggie problems! The whole thing is beginning to look more and more bizarre! This is material for a play in the genre 'Theater of the Absurd'. Maube there's a dramatist among the Blogit crowd who could help you write it, you'd end up on Broadway and get rich and famous...

Will pray...a lawyer seemed reasonable before, although it is sad to have to go to the expense, this isn't right to drag out like it does; I do not know enough about real estate to guess what they may be doing.

I dont think the agent makes any more money the longer it takes so you think she would get it done and done right now, you are right it is a bunch of crap

I can't see what they are playing at ,but it is really cruel keeping you in suspense like this
it all seems ridiculous. The seller cannot want the money very badly. Surely there is a time fix on these transactions. I can only suggest keep worrying the Agent.

I can't stand it when a decision about my life is being made by
someone else. I'd be signing a new lease on the current place, withdrawing the offer and telling that agent her services are no longer required. Your so-called real estate "professional" seems anything but. Sounds like she dropped the ball on something and is hiding that from you.

i think you should contact the local real estate board....check with your state if there on regulations that require them to move forward on this posthaste.....hope this moves faster for you

I cannot believe this, yes I would take it into my hands or something. I know nothing about short-sales but this is a bunch of junk. Seems you need a strong agent and perhaps a new look and your deposit returned. This would make me mad as a hatter.
