Well, I honestly don't recall my mom ever passing on any of those tid-bits of knowledge, but she did teach me that all my friends were probably morons who may actually leap from a bridge one day, and ask me to follow them down! They never did of course, so mom was a bit off on that one . . .

Sounds a lot like my Mom, except for #5 and #8, and as for #9, well...She used to come home a lot telling everybody how much money she saved again, having spent much less than 'It' (whatever 'It' was) was actually worth...
