My sound card (or whatever it's called) has died on me, so I couldn't hear the speech. However, '...the difference between being taught what to think and being given the ability to understand how to think'...is right up my alley, LOL, and I'm so glad you share that view...

Many wise words he had there. I hope that they got a lot out of his speech.

I think the problem with many a well-worded speech concerning any topic is how open and receptive the audience may be! Some people will sit through these wonderful orations, applaud wildly when it is over, but then somehow allow the message to go in one ear and out the other! Very few people are able to present certain thoughts and concepts that actually resonate with others! This gentleman seems to have been successful! Thanks for the drink . . .
