It is a most welcome and wonderful suggestion for me, and I will take it Now and until the 4th of July...even if I am a little sad!
(I already passed Memorial Day; it was an "off" day anyway, but with some perks like low priced tennis shoes in bright colors and comfortable. )

That's actually not as easy as it may sound! I will always remember lost loved ones fondly, and will recall the happiest of happy moments. But I will still be sad over their non-presence . . .

My grandfather served in the navy. My only memory of him was the time I was in the bathroom watching him shave. Dipping his brush in the shaving cream and then putting some on my nose. He died when I was very young. I wish I could remember more about him!
