A nice post. No holiday here but because of Blogit, I spent time
remembering my too many friends who died young from Cancer.

Memorial Day is truly a day for remembering, and though ours here in Canada is later in the year, in November, we do remember with you...

Yes, we must remember the sacrifices are servicewomen and servicemen have done...I am wishing your brother-in-law all the best.

I can only hope that the bulk of the people celebrating yesterday do remember that Memorial Day is about remembering those who fought and died so others may be free, and not just about beer and barbecues . . .

I suppose that's what this weekend is for, remembering
all the souls we've loved and lost to the great beyond. It's why I enjoy seeing kids laughing, freely enjoying the sunny days. Lucy beginning to fit in: that's a good thing.

You do seem a bit sad of late, once you were carefree and jolly. I hope you can get your teeth fixed and charm us again with your happy blogs . It is raining here, and as I look at my porridge which I have forgotten to put the oats in I scoop a few Californian raisins out of the milk, I cannot be bothered to make it again.Good luck with the doggie.
