I regret that it has become necessary, which is why, like you, I have no problem with it. As I wrote in my comment to TAPS, these are the tactics a country must adopt when at war! And we are at war, even though, even though no Western government would ever acknowledge it...

I am an American and for the most part it doesn't bother me! I would rather they nip the terrorist in the bud so to speak! My concern is that one thing leads to another at the Gov'ts whim and who knows what they will do next! sam

probably the alarm bells have gone off because you used the word Bomb...
No I am believing that it is the same as the argument against photographic or finger print ID. If you are doing nothing wrong then what is there to fear except fear itself. 9/11 changed the Western world possibly forever and it is sad to be watched ...BUT.........
