We have no health insurance and no way to get any and it won't change when the new health care bill comes into affect, it will make it worse and even more expensive...We live on a wing and a prayer as do millions and millions of other Americans...I cannot reconize my country anymore, and no one, no one cares.

I have always taken as few medicines and supplements as I possibly can get away with. Being a nurse and studying about side effects and adverse reactions to any and all drugs, makes me weigh heavily against even taking acetaminophen for a headache.

Although it may be true that the combination of meds and alternatives caused something in your system to go "a little haywire," I just can't help my continued cynacism towards the entire world of pharmaceuticals. I still don't fully beleve that most people really need most of the drugs they are being prescribed, especially when, in some cases, they may be doing more damage than good with all of their possible side-affects! There are a lot of "natural" ways to get, and remain, healthy . . .

True and balance is the key with common sense. I have not liked taking many meds due to these commercials that come on by lawyers after the fact saying that if you or your loved one took any of these meds YOU MAY be entitled to benefits. This gives the impression that the prescribed medicines were not tested and the risk were not clarified. Too much for me to take chances on some. Good Post.
