A lovely poem! But I was wondering what kind of limb fell beside TAPS' car - was it an arm or a leg, or maybe just a foot?

It sure was a blustery rain here today.
A limb fell beside my car.
A torrent fell from the sky and soddened the lawn
and ran down the street
It was hot and humid. Now cool and quiet and sweet.
