I have an invention, got it protected and made some money from it, but only because I did it by myself...It is so hard to promote new things without help...But there is still time.

The worm
Unfortunately there are those people who are always looking for ways to steal other peoples ideas because they can't think of their own!

EACH OF YOU ARE ON TARGET and SO RIGHT
Thanks for giving me smiles. Of course it was not good when anyone's ideas were taken. I had to learn to keep my mouth close and still work on it for it is not good when one sees others profit from their ideas.
Many cliches that people use that deal with animals and non human creatures, one has to get the real message. For literal people it is a challenge for they think in exactness. That is a blog for another day, time or person. :-)

I think it may be time to change that particular expression. When a "worm" is equated with human endeavors, it doesn't seem like much of a reward for anything! Back-stabbing and idea-stealing have been around for centuries, no matter when you get up in the morning! There's an old song lyric that states "One must put up barriers to keep oneself intact." Sometimes I find that very true today . . .

A very interesting read. Technology adds a lot of wrinkles to the process as well.
