No dangerous snakes around here that I know of, but ticks we have, and I'm forever checking my animals after they've been outside. You are wise to go to a clinic and have the bite checked out.

Honey I am so sorry that happened to you. I hate snakes with a passion. I don't mind most bugs if they have purpose but ticks they are atrocious. You do whatever you need to, to be sure you are okay. I'll be praying for you.

bugs and spiders freak me out and i think that tick

I knew we would have to give in and hire someone when summer weather hits. The heat and humidity make it impossible to breathe outside, much less do yard work! Guess it is time!
