Yes, my wife and I did hear and read about those floods! I guess Mother Nature's anger knows no international borders! People are getting creamed all over the place, in one fashion or another! Fires, floods, hail storms, tornados, severe lightning . . . Mother Nature is definitely pissed!

I have been following this one since I live in the Northwest of the U.S.! Good to read that you are safe! Flooding is dangerous and the damage is monumental! sam

I have not seen any coverage of this down here, but then I refuse to watch the nightly news cast, I do hope all is well with you.

It's just horrendous! We're getting a lot of pictures on the news, but the U-Tube sequence you have here shows the overwhelming extent of it! The losses must be staggering! One must hope that things will improve to the point that the Stampede can be held, to avoid at least that loss...

There has been plenty of coverage of the Calgary disaster
in the Australian news. My family wish all of you well as they watch from down Under.

Mia...
I know the other night the NBC network's evening news ran a story, including some video, of the flooding...you and your husband (and family), stay high and dry and safe.
