Happy 4th of July!!
I liked a few of these, particularly "The proper role of government is to protect the rights of the people, not to provide things to the people"
I think a lot of people today are labouring under the delusion that the government "owes" them a lot; in my mind, this is Socialist nonsense and a huge part of the problem your country currently faces (Canada is perhaps more socialist than you guys, but we are a society based on different beliefs and not quite as fierce about our personal freedoms...)
