Sinome
A very powerful but also very sad poem! And I certainly hope it is borne of reflection, not of experience...

What a powerful poem, Simone. Touching on clinical, even. I imagine that, sometimes, in special circumstances, Apathy could be a blessing. The line 'Nothing is easier to follow so Nothing is what leads' is maybe the easiest way out.

Life won't miss you. People will. That poem can be used to have the opposite effect on someone.

Now that's a sad poem. I think I shall never give up dreaming, never give up hope, never give up singing. Of course at age 75 the dreams are different than they were at 25, but the hope is even stronger and the singing more enjoyable.
