We have that overheated weather here, but no beaches only wetlands full of frogs, ducks and Canada geese. Loved your poetry

Yes, such a powerful poem. Get cancer but wow I am beautifully tanned, what a scam and it has been since at least for as long as I can remember. Love the poem.

Yes! An excellent poem - we've all been there, haven't we? We delude ourselves into pretending that time off is time out...And yet, there's something deliciously enticing about sun and sand and waves rolling onto the beach, though I can do without motors, I much prefer the hum of the rigging on my sailboat...

I remember doing the same, trying to stop time on some sandy beach. Your words remind me how futail it is, and how wonderful at the same time, especially for a mountain boy.

I used to sunbake when I got the chance, loved to walk an empty beach almost nude....Not these days. not anymore.
