Oh I can imagine how happy you are to have a smart, sweet, grandson with you. Mine just left and it was such a treat.

You love it, you must have someone to mother.

He is a lucky lad getting such a wealth of experience

from a very young at heart um, um, relative.

Thank you, Kabu, and from his Facebook there are some girls who think so.

I enjoy young teens - it's nice to catch up on what is important to them.

I don't know how energetic Norda was in the morning, Jay

but Smooch still thinks of himself as a puppy. He's a BIG puppy.

It is a pleasure, FSI, and probably doing me more good than it does him.

LOL, that they do, Nautikos

I never see him go anywhere without it, but it also enables us to reach him whenever we need to do so.

It is Grandma,

Now the  one of the bunch who hasn't stayed here is my only granddaughter. As she said to me tonight, "We'Ll have to think of something...".

I think their weight is pretty close, Jimmy.

But Smooch wanting to play in the morning is not an ideal way to wake up!

He is a good kid, Pat_B, and we both like sports, which makes it fun too.

You got that right, TAPS, on both counts!

I remember being fit like that, though I have lost twenty pounds working out in the garden. What a strong looking boy he is, a picture of fitness, and how wonderful for you to have this chance to get to know him better. Something that neither of you will ever forget, but I think I would like to be wakened by a 117 pound dog. Perhaps I am just missing Norda, my black lab...Thanks for the smiles.

Like you said, it sounds like a great opportunity to get to know him better. And I don't think he'll be able to withstand an early morning Smooch attack! In fact, looking at his pic, I'll bet Smooch weighs more than he does . . .

I got the chance to spend some time with my grandson Matt

when he was that age - and we got to be really good buddies. I hope you and Raph get to know each other - he's sure to get a better picture of the family and how he fits. He looks like a great kid.

Woo hoo!  I think he is exactly what you need right now.  And, what a looker.  How fun.
