I hope the wedding is a smashing occasion and the best. Here's to 5 is a charm, adding in the slower progress to the typical 3.

I hope that there'll be some answers to the causes of the Lac-Megantic disaster, if only to prevent a repetition. But if it was really case of human error, as seems ever more likely, how does one guard against that?
I like the choice of song for your son's wedding, and I know the whole thing will be a huge success...

sam...
It took me a few reads of the news and seeing it on tv to remember my Mom and I went through Lac-Megantic way back when I was about ten yrs old - we were going to my brother's for Christmas by train that year. Realizing that has brought this "accident" home in a way just reading about it blindly, so to speak, never could.
..
Happier note:Enjoy every minute of those wedding preparations for your son!..

A beautiful song choice! The Quebec train derailment is certainly a horrible thing - we've been following it as well, and are keeping the town in our thoughts. Here's hoping your latest negotiator will be able to finally bring you some resolution!!

My wife and I did everything . . . and I mean everything . . . together concerning our wedding, and although it was a tremendous amount of work, the end result was wonderful, and what we wanted for ourselves. Yes, that train derailment was yet another tragedy weighing on everyone's mind. I hope there'll be some peace soon . . .

Oh yes - have always liked that tune, Sam!! What is the wedding date again? It is horrible for the folks there in Lac Megantic. A small place and everyone knew each other practically. I have a feeling it was just error after error that caused the tragedy.

Here's wishing you a wonderful dance at the wedding, and
wishing the bride and groom every happiness.
I, too, have been thinking the last couple of days there's omething fishy about the rail tragedy - 40 oil tankers blowing up - what a horror for that town. It couldn't have been worse if bombs had been dropped. It's going to be a miracle if they find all the missing. It's a real heartbreaker.
