Kabu...

LOL, Naut -

Smoothly put. My belief is enough. I feel no need to attempt to convince anyone else that Angels exist.

Dear TAPS,

Sometimes we don't need to see them, but we can sense them beside us. I wonder if Peter has seen or can sense his? I have no doubt at all that you have your special Angel watching over you.

I think it's very nice to be able to believe in angels...

I've never seen a real angel (that I know of).  I do believe they are out there somewhere, and one is likely watching over me.

And you, dear Justi.

I wouldn't doubt but that you and George are surrounded by them, and they are helping in your work.

No - don't feel sorry for Bird, CCT

He has moved on to better things than he had here. And yes, you are right. It is pure and beautiful.

FSI, it is a forceful power, and we have to learn how to handle it.

You are welcome, Jay

And I have no doubt your Angel was there when you were ready to be saved.

It was mostly about how one can't change

what another believes, Pat_B. But yes, my son, who would shake his head when I would talk about Angels had a visit from Bird. He showed up in my son's Fed Ex truck and chatted to him. What really got my non-smoking son was the smell of Bird's cigarette smoke which lingered in the truck when it was over. Otherwise he would have considered it just an illusion because he misses his uncle that much.

Yep - they miss out on a lot.

Caught yours as it was flying by.

Angels among us.. such a magical thing ~

Well I think we have to express what we feel in terms that we can understand. Perhaps there is a certain goodness that forms and expresses itself in the way we can understand we may call it what we wish, but it is pure and beautiful and I am sure you experienced this after looking after Bird. I really did feel sorry for him perhaps he reminded me of my Dad.

A beautiful post I find this to be. Like you, I am into the power of believing.

We will all believe one day, like you, I believe today. It was either God or an angel that saved me...There was no other way. This was a beautiful post and as always...Thanks for the smiles.

I believe in Angels ....I know one that sends out smiles every time she writes and therefore brightens up my day. And I believe.

Beautifully said

I honestly can't say I believe in Angels, although there are times I truly wish I did - I love the idea of guardian angels, and the sense of peace and wonder they bring.

I'm sending a smile back, and hoping it finds you well

Even the most documented and believable scientists have theories

that are questioned by others. My grandma Lucy believed in angels, and in fact thought each of us has a guardian angel - she had giant posters of children being watched over by the winged ones. But what prompted you to write this?  You mentioned Bird, so I'm thinking something must have happened to stir this pot.

With a smile... :)

There is a distinction, often missed, between scientific truth, and truth.

If a thing can not be proven through scientific method, it doesn't mean that thing does not exist.  It means that further scientific inquiry must act as if it is not a factor, does not, therefore, exist: nothing can be assumed, if it can't be proven.  That is scientific truth.

Then there is truth that does not fall within the limits of scientific inquiry.  Personal truth... logical truth...

I guess a lot of people wait to accept something until science can prove it.  They miss out on a lot.

I will see your  and raise you one...
