I don't think it had anything to do with her being a vegan as much as it may have been her need to act upon her natural predatory instincts once in a while! Intruder alert? Attack! Poor mouse . . .

One day, I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked out the window. There was a big feral cat eating a squirrel. I could tell the squirrel was dead, and I didn't know what to do, so I closed the blind and went to watch the news on TV. The daily news wasn't much better.

My cats like to leave at least a portion of their catch at the front door steps as a way of saying thank you I suppose. I have read where many cats do this, and after having rescued many, many cats through the years I find this to be ture...And yes, they like to play with their food.

Wow...She actually killed!!!!!! I am in awe!!! Graysome always brings it to us to get rid of when he is sick of tormenting a poor little mouse.
Don't we just love our kitty cats. They make life so much richer.

LOL! Yep, nature will take it's course. My LSW strongly suggests the hawks that visit us occasionally should eat the birdseed we have out at several stations, rather than helping themselves to the other guests...

I would have been grossed out too if a dead mouse was in the house.
