Congrats to your Son!
It's an awesome accomplishment - the first of many in his adult life, I'm sure! Joining the Navy certainly is a great goal. I don't know about America, but in Canada our military actually has a university/college program.

My eldest Grandson is just starting his last year of high school and he has no idea what he wants to study either and he is so busy enjoying his friends will he settle down??? Even as Nan we worry about them. I agree I did some good things, I made some mistakes as a single parent it was tough!!! actually all of it was the toughest job of my life.

Yeah, I think many of us were in the same boat ( no pun intended ) way back when. You're nervous, but he has to make his own mistakes, along with his own decisions. It'll work out . . .

Congrats to your son, and to you, of course! And if he wants to join the Navy, he should be encouraged! (I guess you'd expect that from someone who loves the sea, LOL) It would be a great adventure, and would certainly help him to 'find himself'...

Ahhh I remember those days of highschool graduations. Now my kids are grown and on their own but not a day passes that I don't miss the days when they were babies and I could keep them safe... The bigger they are the bigger the troubles they can get into, but you know what? they make it through and so do we. Congratulations on the graduation and enjoy your son :-) xoxoxo
