My prayers are with you and I pray all turns out well with you. This was just a marvelous post, you are such a good writer and your love for your family and your dogs shines through like a light in the night.

I know about losing data, Jimmy. It has happened twice with storms
and you'd think I would learn to continually back up, wouldn't you?

Fortunately I never stay sad for long, CCT:
I lose patience when I'm sick, and whine a lot, but bounce back when I'm feeling better.

Ah, Simone - I fell in love with Cuba the first time I stepped on the
island, and with its people also. Their passion and warmth for life and 'joie de vivre' is amazing. Generalizing here, but you know what I mean. A joy it is to know I have another Cuban friend, and an excellent poet to boot!!!

Unfortunately, Naut, the little lady is very self-centered, and what
she feels takes precedence over anyone else. I thought it was an artist thing. Maybe it is. Maybe I should paint her into a wall....

I love the rain, Pat_B. On this occasion there was no
'between the drops' to be found, LOL! We were soaked thoroughly by the time we made it into the house. Have to wonder if the dogs wrinkle their noses at my wet smell as I do at theirs.

Thank you, TAPS.
Odd though - I thrive on peace and quiet, but somehow the 'lively' seems to find me.

I'm sure you'll be okay medically. You obviously have a great attitude and love life, and that can go a long way in staying generally healthy! Yeah, you've got to be careful if you're on the computer and a storm or two rolls in! Nothing more frustrating than losing data you didn't get the chance to back up . . .

Well keep smiling Adnohr, there is always some little problem as one matures.
I wish we could have a good soak, but not the excitement. Saves giving the dogs a wash I suppose. You seem a bit happier, that's good.

Of course I'm wishing you that all that medical stuff will be taken care of and that you'll soon be in top shape again, regardless of any misgivings of yours...I also hope that your son's lady will grasp the olive branch with both hands - I mean, how can she not? Surely she wouldn't want to see her husband and her kids permanently miserable?

Good news on the scans. Just knowing what's what can make
us feel better. Sometimes there's no better fun than running between the drops. :)

You've always got something lively going on at your place. I think it is keeping you young. So glad your test results were not too awfully bad. Keep well.
