It appears you may have put the cart before the horse! You probably should have made yourself as aware as possible of what you can spend before you spent it! And don't cut your hand! You might end up unintentionally messing up those new baby clothes . . .

Yeah, they rely on Grandparents, Uncles and Aunts and friends to buy expensive baby clothes...which of course we do. Same story everywhere. You will have to eat at your friends places for a month...

Interesting expression "cut my hand". I don't think I've heard that before. Baby clothes are very cute, soft and cuddly, but they definitely are expensive.
