Here are latest poll numbers from Rasmussen:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 47% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama's job performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove (see trends).
The latest figures include 23% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 39% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16.
There are still way too many who approve, as far as I am concerned. Of course, many of those may be illegal immigrants...

Your up in the night X-man, 6 years ago we had a 4% unemployment rate and these were good jobs, not fast food. Enough of your bull.

hmmm -- as if . .
as if this hasn't been happening for decades.
What you list here is a long time process -- I would venture to say that the same could have been said 10 years ago under the Bush Aministration.
It is not Democrat's programs, or liberal agenda that has caused this.
It is a conservative state of mind, particularly on the part of Corporate America and their ungody influence in government -- I admit both Democrat and Republican -- that has brought us to this state. It is their insistent on low wages and fewer benefits to the American Worker and other profit reaping ideas such as shipping good manufacturing jobs overseas so that they can pay about $2 a day to workers and maintain sweatshop conditions that would not be tolerated here that hs brought us to this point.
It is the silence of our elected representatives, particularly Republican, due to contributions from the heads of Walmart and the Koch Brother, that has brought us to this condition.
This is a sore that has been festering for decades, through several presidents.

Not to me. Then today I heard there was an indicator of an increase in the minimum wage is contested by a couple of billionaires. The ones given responsibility to govern for all seem cluesless about the crux of the matter. It seems unlikely if things will change any time soon. Good questions.

Talk about being somewhat ashamed. This almost makes me want to go around with a scraper and remove all those bumper stickers that claim "Proud To Be An American" . . .

It sure does not. There are a lot of discouraged workers (those unemployed who stopped seeking jobs and are not getting unemployment benefits) and underemployed people.
