Makes me remember all the driving of my sons to soccer practice back and forth. Since there were four boys, that went on for years.

I never buy the warranty, but try to get an appliance with a couple of years guaranteed .
Yours must be a duff one , perhaps you were just unlucky.

"Planned Obsolescence" . . . that's the new industry standard when it comes to appliances these days! Believe me, the days of making machinary that lasts 30 or 40 years, or even 10 years, is looooong over! What a shame! And hey, it is good to rant every once in a while, but personally, I'd be careful of doing it to or at total strangers! You never know what kind of reaction you might get, depending on the rant itself of course . . .

I guess sometimes it is good to buy the warranty.

Bittersweet. You sound like an active parent. I believe your children know
how good it feels to have you.

and what better place than Blogit to let it all go.....LOL...I can't stand it if an important appliance like that lets me down; worst of all for me is if the car won't go. I go nuts.
That is a lovely interest that daughter has chosen. I remember taking one of my son's to band practice....yes it goes quickly. let's hope the next week is better for you.

The marching band has started to meet at the local high school where I live...That washing machine has turned into quite the hassle, I see.

What a insightful lady! You were supposed to meet her, I bet, and that's why the machine broke (again) at this precise moment. I have two old Maytags that still work like a charm. Have only been repaired twice in 25 years, and small repairs at that. I've heard that the new Maytags are not as good. The Repairman needs to eat too, I suppose.
