My heart is heavy, I have never called the police before, but I think in your case I would...Thanks for all the smiles and kind words, you do make the world just a little brighter each day.

This business with the neighbour is extremely irritating and potentially dangerous. You should talk to your lawyer and have him get an order of constraint against that guy, directing him to remain at a certain distance from your property. If he violates that, he can be arrested...

You got to the end of your post sending out your usual love.I am commenting before I'm dead for I'm in the back of an SQ car for feeding your neighbour to his dogs.

Good luck with getting some sort of legal matter brought against this man so he cannot have dogs. He is terrible.

That "Bob and his dogs" situation is horrible.  It sounds like some kind of Stephen King movie (like Cujo).  I fear he is just going to get worse and worse.  Can't you charge him with stalking or something?....get a restraining order to keep him 500 yards from your property line?....or something.

Yes, I think it might be time to go to the police.

Well here Adnohr there is talk of long prison sentences for the owners

of dogs which prove to be uncontrollable as this has resulted

in some cases to elderly and very young people being mauled

and dying from the effect.

A good job you have some tough mates, it might put matey boy

off trying to be in control.

I think Pat has the best idea! Seriously, though, I can see how frustrating this is for you and your poochies.

It does sound like time for another word to the authorities

who keep the community civilized, where folks won't choose to be civil themselves.  This guy doesn't seem to get it at all. And it does sound as if he's had enough chances.

There is nothing worse than a bad neighbor! Oh man I feel your pain here. Yes, it really really, really is a tedious chore to have to keep such a watch on your own private yard when there is such a neighbor that can't keep to his own private land. Oooh this makes me mad, especially when the guy is so blatant about his actions. Maybe set a trap at the gate there where he stops, sock him and his dogs with rotten egg and skunk wedged in a tree! I can send you some!! :)

Good job on your project too!

Needless to say the entire scenario sounds completely unfair! You should not have to limit your own activities, and those of your dogs, because of one a**hole neighbor! It seems the police just may be useless in this situation! Give the petition another try. It just may eventually work . . .

Someone needs to sprinkle happy pills in Bob's oatmeal.

Men get so testy and overbearing when they know they're in the wrong but are too stupid-stubborn to back down.
