- Go to MY LADY'S STORY - PART 5 - BILLY
I agree with...
pretty much everyone! I never trash a first draft - no matter how rough and jagged the words, because it's the building blocks for a potentially brilliant story! A great piece so far, I look forward to more

This ir really intriguing! And I agree with Pat - Billy turns out to be very interesting, and may be taking over the story, at least for now...

for me, Billy is going to give this the depth that your story needs. Keep this. Keep everything that comes ...sometimes one has to throw out later, sometimes it is the meat of the story....maybe as much Billy as the little girl...maybe they will entwine and break away and entwine again.

This is just fabulous work. You should start looking for a publisher.

Yes, you are building characters it is exciting, but it needs to be, one has to believe in them and only you can decide in the end if you wish them to remain active. Good luck.

I agree totally with Pat don't chipp away at it until you get the first draft complete. Get this work done and go back. It is good.

Keep it all! Don't toss any of it - yet.
Once you get the first draft finished - because this is the first raw, unedited living breathing child of the mind - then you can whittle away, sand off the rough edges, fill in the low spots. I like Billy, there's so much more to discover about him.
