Ah well - the rough makes us appreciate the smooth more, CCT.
Some days are just a little harder than others. It works out in the end.

Your are welcome, Jay.
Golfing is a relaxing pastime - I really should take it up again.

So true, Jimmy. My doggies can usually fix me right up
but they are having difficulty adapting to being restrained for their excercise, not being allowed to roam free because of Bob. They were actually part of the problem that day, surplus energy.

I've been worried, FSI. We used to have so many here
but this is the first I've seen all year. Actually, I'm still worried - one is not enough.

Thank you for that, TAPS.
I so agree with you for the smiles - it is a great pressure-reliever.

I find that too, Kabu
And yes, Bird would be around to make me laugh on those days. He seemed to know when to call.

I hope it makes it to Mexico, Naut
I was very careful to make sure the kitties and doggies were not around when I let it fly. They tend to try catching anything that moves.

LOL - maybe our days ARE being screened, Ciel.
You'd think they'd weed out the bad ones....

It is a bit rough at times Adhnor. I don't think butterflies live very long, so an hour or too flying around would be a lively adventure for this one. Hope good luck is round the corner.

It used to happen to me when I was golfing, one of the smily moments, at least enough to get me to go back another day and play...Well...Until that last round ten years ago. Thanks for the smiles.

Sometimes it's the simpliest thing that can turn that frown upside down! For me, it's having one of our cats rub up against me, look up at me with those blinky little green eyes and purring like there's no tomorrow! How can one still be down after that . . . ?

I just love people who smile easily, and who look for things to smile about.
A smile just lights up a face and makes it ever so much more lovely.....And you are a beautiful lady to begin with.

I think you would love the poems of Mary Oliver...
She's one poet who actually makes money with her art - in addition to being a professor at - I think it's William and Mary College - and sharing her gift with students.
I'll
one to you. Don't want to put it here because of copyrights, etc..

The butterfly is beautiful! It probably decided to give you a happy moment before continuing on its migration south, to its winter habitat in Mexico...

Happily, I have my scampering squirrel to take the edge off
And this one also is running around on the screen door, today. Maybe it is something about screening our days' events?
