I can remember how watchful I became when I noticed the boys checking out my daughter. I believe I was thinking 'Oh, no!! Not already!!' I enjoy amateur sports - many winter nights have found me in an arena watching my grandsons play hockey.

It sounds like a fun time and I am so glad T isn't msture or interested yet. My Granddaughter Mikayla is turning 15 and has no interest in perky males as yet. She is still Daddy's girl. and told me this year that boys are so immature these days. LOL.

I am not much into college football either. Like you, I would get into it if I knew someone personally on a team (i.e. friend or relative)...That is good that the cheerleaders did tasteful routines.

Oh such a lovely post. Brings back memories from a long time, my high school days, my children and now my grandson. The South loves their sports of all kinds. I am die hard Alabama fan but it makes no real difference because the sports departments are so much a part of the colleges that I feel academia is put on the back burner.
Be blessed!
