It's great to hear the kitty seems to be okay! But Asian beetles? Hope they don't affect trees, as some of these damn things do! Remember the Dutch Elm beetle? In these parts we haven't go any elms left at all, and some other beetle is affecting our white ash trees - all very annoying...But I'm sure you'll have a good time with your rug rats tomorrow!

I agree, it is difficult to drive safely this time of year.  One can't help but ogle nature.

Great post. Are you sure you don't want to give the precious wee ones some treats? I hope kitties and Mom do well. I love kittens and so many other animals. I have two cats and can't take any more so I do resist....

Between the Rug Rats and the kittens, you'll be very occupied indeed! I hope that "little runt" makes it! I would hate to read that he didn't survive as well. Good luck with the beetles. I hope they really aren't Ladybugs! They don't deserve the fate of the vacuum . . .

Don't consider it babysitting-- It's grandmeresitting.

And they get paid in sweets and sweetness!

Hide the cat or they will be mesmerised by the kittens. I am glad they are not lady birds.

Just coming in for winter hibernation I expect. Do you know how to use a titty bottle?

we have Lady bugs here too though not so many as some years. Whether they are the real ones or not, we suck 'em into the vacuum. There is only so much of a goof thing one can take.

Give the Rug Rats a bag each of chocolate just before they leave so you don't have the high....tee hee...

Those Asian beetles bite, from what I understand, but they don't

eat aphids. Off they go.

Have fun with the rug rats, I know they will love being around you even for half a day. Take pictures.
