Life certainly is going on!

I found that drinking large amounts of calcium powder mixed in cranberry juice (the only flavor juice I could find that countered the bitterness of the calcium) between contractions really made contractions a lot more bearable.  So to speak.  Doc said it rejuvenates the muscle, replacing the calcium exhausted by the contraction.

I did have to clear it first with the hospital.

May she have a quick and easy delivery!

Sounds like you've got everything pretty much planned. I hope you continue to enjoy the Fall. Old Man Winter will be making an appearance before you know it! That's okay! That just means that hockey season is in full swing!  And I'm sure Bird is with you every day as well, enjoying what you enjoy . . .

This post has so much in it. That is a treat. The city dinner sounds like a posh and lovely mix. I always love reading about your Holiday get togethers. This year is a little more sparse but it sounds manageable and lots of fun. You know 'when left alone the cream rises to the top'. You will soon have this little grand-something. How fascinating is that? I shall say a pray that this will be the best Thanksgiving ever.

Funny Adnohr I always felt sorry for Bird, but he seemed to make the most of his hard luck .

Nevertheless you did a fine job looking after him especially at the end. I doubt if he would have been treated so well by his previous companion. We tend to forget that we must also feel proud of ourselves if we do things that others shy from. I am sure something will turn up any good at writing Wills, a lot of freelancers  do it here .

I too am enjoying the last of what in these parts is almost summer weather, and I'm taking Bennie into our colourful woods every day...

A lot of things going on, I see. The Thanksgiving dinner sounds intriguing...I wish you well with the job search.

I forget that your Thanksgiving comes so soon, but it sure sounds like a fun one this year, good luck on the job hunt and thanks for the smiles.

Canadian Thanksgiving is this weekend, Pat-B

And yes - Bird was the kind of person who would grow on you. Not a day goes by without my thinking about fim and his doings or one of his comments, and it makes me smile.

The plans for November sound like fun. I'm crossing my fingers

for you to find just the right job.

I don't know why, since I only knew him through your posts, but I often think of Bird. His decline and passing was similar to what my kids' dad went through. Time does stretch and double back in odd ways.
