You are right, we are able to chose what we want to read and what we do not want to read, if you find that you have been offended perhaps you kept reading when you should have stopped...I am with you and if some don't like what they read, they can change the channel so to speak. We are but one in a world of billions, we should expect a world of opinions and take joy in the diversity. That is not to say we must always agree, but we should find it within us to get along...God bless.

I have read and heard thousands of jokes in my lifetime, and although there probably were a handful that did offend me in some manner, I always tried to remember that they were just that . . . jokes! Like you said, people have two choices: read them, deal with them, and move on, or don't bother reading them at all! A third choice may be for some people to simply thicken their skins a bit, but that always seems to be somewhat difficult . . .
