Re: Helen weeped because, like many people around here, she doesn't

And that's Helen wept...weeped is NOT a word...

Helen weeped because, like many people around here, she doesn't

enjoy winter. Yes - I did put in advertising for my services, but the local area has few residents, and many prefer sticking with their long-time accountant. As for charges for pets, I guess the vets have to study as long as doctors do...and they do know how much we love our animals. The almighty dollar!!

I love winter too, TAPS. I have so many great memories of all

we children would do during the winter...so long ago.

LOL, Jimmy, I agree - but eye candy is fun for a bit.

Thank you, Justi, and Grump is doing fine now, except for not being

able to wander around freely as he was used to doing before the neighbor's stupidity! I'll only take on what I can handle, and your blessings are more than welcome!

LOL - yes, Jay - I do dance in the snow, and when my hockey team

wins, and sometimes for no reason at all!!

An interview is quite an experience, FSI

Especially when you really NEED the job. UGH!

No-no!! Wiley shouldn't be thinking of doing them!

Did you find someone to help? And yes, whether we're ready or not, snow will come.

That damned neighbor isn't answering his phone, Nautikos.

Not that I was really counting on it anyway. SO...you have no positions to be filled??

Thank you, Pat-B, and I hope the interviewers feel the same.

One of them did say, as I shook hands on leaving, that she enjoyed my sense of humor. And so far, so good for the HABS!!

Thank you, BC-A!

Why did Helen weep Adnohr. Does snow evoke memories for her. I quite like it but I am rather afraid my tunnels might not. Did you ever think of running a small advert for your services it would be handier to pick up someome's accounts and do it at home. I would hate to be interviewed for a job , I know I would not get it. I suppose. So glad the doggies are slowly recovering , I think it is a bit hot to charge so much for one injection, no wonder folk abandon their pets, so called.

Winter sounds so lovely at your place.  I have always loved winter, even when my feet were freezing and my nose was red.

Geez, busy, busy, busy! I hope the dog's health improves with each passing day! And ya know, Brad Pitt may be a good boss to "look at," but not necessarily to work for! Be careful what you wish for . . .

I have missed you but I am so glad to hear of your news all but the poor doggies ear. He will be okay I do hope. Be blessed dear lady, don't keep taking on so much.

It is good to have you back, I forgot that you had gone...oops., but I can just see you dancing in the snow.

A lot going on, I see...I myself have never had a job interview...It is nice to read of the first snow.

they are saying that we should get snow here at the end of the week. I am almost ready for it...just a few heavy duty things to do and will try to get some help. Of course Wiley says he will do them but he's stuck in his chair.

Welcome back! It hasn't been that long, actually, but to me it seemed like forever! I really got a charge of your answer in that interview! If I had been the boss I would have hired you on the spot - I like people with chutzpa! And by all means - don't let get that damn neighbour of your off the hook...And give my love to your poor doggies...

Wonderful to "visit with you" again. I have to laugh at your idea

of the ideal boss -- and any employer would be lucky to find someone who not only works hard, but has a sense of humor. It should have added a couple points in your favor.  I hope your Habs win. Poor Grump.
