And that's the best way to look at it. Imagine walking along with a small pebble in your shoe. Each step seems to get more and more uncomfortable. Then, you finally stop, take off your shoe, give it a few taps, and out pops that annoying pebble! Then, when you place the shoe back on and begin to walk again, the pain and discomfort are gone! What a relief! That's how you should probably approach this! The pebble has now been removed, and walking is more comfortable and bearable again! Stay positive . . .

Good luck in your next chapter. I am still in my marriage. I take it one day at a time and only time will reveal to me how this chapter will end. There are good days and not so good days... but Life goes on. And I know just like you, if I left today, I would be just Fine, too! Keep on writing. It is a blessing to write and heal from the past.

It is really tough and there is a lot of grief for the end of a period of your life. But having walked through that door shut it fast behind you and step on out. Something you deserve is there if you keep one day at a time walking ahead.

Yes, Anna, you will be just fine. We're all here for you if you feel the need to vent or just share a laugh or a smile or anything else. God is with you and will help through this new chapter of your life. Sometimes, as much as we love someone, it's better to be apart.
I will keep you in my prayers.

Yes, you are going to be just fine, but it will never be over, because the love that was in you in the beginning can never die, it is the flower of God's smile.

You are still young, there are not many Saints around. I would imagine the pain eases as one adjusts. Lots of memories to contend with. A good job you have your writing skills.
