Children are great, Jimmy, but also can break one's heart.
Like anything else, there are pros and cons. Yes - the money is worth it, and I really had no choice anyway - it had to be done.

Thank you Utah, as I love to read your lovely and sometimes
'food for thought' poems.

Thanks, FSI. I'm quite proud of her, and animals adapt well when they
are properly introduced.

Helen bought a 2014 Honda CRV - the latest model of my own truck. Great wheels!

And she fits perfectly into my arms, Pat-B, although I have to take turns
with a very doting grandmother, my daughter...and a doting daddy, my grandson Fred. It's fun to see him with her - his grin is a mile wide and soooo proud!!

Thank you, Nautikos, and the boys are healed well, the result
of much time and washing and anitbiotics and TLC. I wanted to be sure Smooch's wounds would close without infection (another vet visit!) and that is done, so the neighbor will be receiving his copies of the bills any day now...I don't think he goes to the post office too often.

What a beautiful little girl! I must admit I'm somewhat jealous. I don't even have a child, let alone a grandchild or a great-grandchild! I guess it just wasn't meant to be. And you're right to be careful with introducing the cat to the dogs! That can be an arduous undertaking! And a 90 minute commute each way? I sure hope the money makes it worthwhile . . .

Congrats on the great-grandbaby...I wish you well as you slowly ease the dogs into their new situation with one another.

I think you must be proud as punch over that lovely little great granddaughter. She is beautiful. Yes the intro session tonight will be something. You are a brave one. I think the back up power is your knowledge and strength to be the Alpha in any situation. Don't over do but glad things are going well. I love seeing you have written a post. Be blessed.

Wonderful post. Beautiful baby. Personally, I would not have the nerve to bring a male cat into the home of two pitbulls. LOL. But, if anyone can do it, it is you.

It's all great except the snow... yikes. We're supposed to get maybe
a bit of it on Tuesday a.m., but today is sunny, bright and perfect leaf-raking weather. I can't believe you've got a great grandchild, but she is perfectly beautiful... :)

CONGRATULATIONS! What a beautiful baby! Also, I'm very glad that things are falling into place for you on the work front, and I trust the boys have healed by now. Any news about the disgusting neighbour paying the vet bills?
