Sinome
Amazing imagery! And it somehow reminds me that war seems to be part of the human condition...

Chilling, fantastic imagery. I was picturing clouds and shapes fun and breeze, and then an ominous overcast coming in...

This Is Beauty
Seen in the sky of your heart,
Through your eyes,
That haunt all of us and
tear away my disguise
of adulthood...
Just two children playing on the beach,
looking out on the limitless Ocean of
imagination, friendship and the feeling of no name...
Your phrases of sweet delight are precious, my friend.

I just can't get the meaning in this poem Simone. I don't dislike it, but is so different to what you usually write.

It took my soul away as well, the sound in my ears never dies.

We had the sky up there, all speckled with stars, and we used to lay on our backs and look up at them, and discuss about whether they was made or only just happened. ~Mark Twain
We used to do that too. We looked at the clouds by day and the stars by night and talked of cabbages and kings and wars and someday my prince will come. I guess people of all ages have had the sky for their enjoyment.

Surely more can be resolved by talks and with compromise...Oh leave it to us Mothers and Grandmothers or like Nelson Mandella and join people together with a Rugby game...
