Great in what way? it really works with any kind of pot or pan? That's my biggest concern.

The new technology is great, but...
If you are serious about cooking, I mean really serious, YOU MUST HAVE GAS!!! I cooked professionally for about 7 years and there are some things that will never work right on an electric burner. You can't judge heat by the color of a cooking surface and when you crank up the heat on an electric burner it takes too long to change - takes too long to cool when you turn it down as well. One of the biggest reasons that I want to build a home is to get the kitchen the way I want it. That and the Master Bed/Bath suite; complete with Roman tub, six head shower platform, terrarium, surround sound entertainment system and an expresso bar.
