Ouch! That's got to be tough! Anytime there is damage, accompanied by severe pain, with any joint in the body ( knee, elbow, shoulder ) it's never pleasant. It's also something you can't fool around with. If an operation is the only way, it's the only way! Sometimes ya just gotta do what ya gotta do! I know you'll know what to do . . .

It does not matter where pain is one always wishes it to be somewhere else. good thing to have it checked out though. rough luck when one is young.
