and to think that the spoilt rotten Mr. Graysome sometimes complains about his life...like the fact that it is way too cold to go either into the mud room or the screen porch.
You have the sweetest heart and I love to think of your Kittycats warm and snug and well fed. ...and it goes without saying that there is no way that I could have left that one trying to stay warm outside either.

You sound very much like my wife, who is also a sucker for any strays! We have several cats of our own ( my wife likes to keep the actual number hush-hush ) and none of them ever goes outside! And with the temperatures up here in Jersey hovering between 10 and 15° most days, many of them probably wouldn't stand a chance! Yes, keep as many kitties as you can warm and safe! I just talked to my mom last night who lives in Plano ( just north of Dallas ) and she too was complaining about the unusually cold weather down there! What is happening with the damned climate?
