Yes I guess so Ciel. My brother pays for his dentist, but she referred him to one at the local clinic because he takes warfarine
The dentist was a surgeon and Arthur said he was brilliant the best dentist he had ever been treated by. His clients were people all on benefits. If one can pay a little one moves up to poor quality N.S.H. I'll make an offer for your hair it looks great. There, there. it was not too painful was it.

The recent movie, LES MISERABLES, showed graphically how hard times could be: selling hair and teeth and virtue were the rungs downward in a society that despises the poor and blames them for their own poverty. That attitude now has to share room with compassion and the giving of comfort and aid. Both of which, I'm thinking, can go to gruesome extremes.
