jems, travelling with my brother, I watched him order burgers w/out buns!!
He did it all across the country as we travelled. So, the Whopper sans buns must be for the people like him who are ordering it this way anyway.......

Actually, there have been....
a number of crustless pizza recipes floating around low-carb sites for years. Most of them use a broiled meat and cheese base to hold the other yummy toppings.

What's next? Crustless pizza?

The whole Atkins, low carb demonization is bullshit.

There's This Pill...

The DJs at the station I call my fave swear by the Calogel pills.  I believe you can find out more here.

And Pecan...I am HURT!  Hurt I say!  "Wench"! *sniff*

Mummy,  I can totally understand your point.  It's just that I think it's obscene that Burger King is doing this to the Whopper!

Now, Be Nice
Some of us tried, and I mean really really tried, to lose weight on a low-fat diet with plenty of exercise and failed. Miserably. I won't give my whole "testimony" here, you can read it at Fat Blogger. But the long and the short of it is that in two years on a low-fat, restricted calorie diet, exercising at least five hours a week, I did not lose a pound. After switching to the Atkins plan, I lost 35 pounds in 8 weeks and kept it off for more than five years---so far. It's a metabolism thing, and just as low-fat isn't for everyone, low-carb isn't for everyone.

Gotta cash in on the craze

You know...now that Subway has Atkins wraps...maybe we'll get a new Jared.  An Atkins Jared, who went through the headaches and awful feeling of the Atkins initiation phase and lost tons of weight.   Me...I'll stick to low fat, high fiber, low sugar, sighhhhhh maybe I'll just go on meds.

Skinny wench!
