You are right, I don't get rain like that a lot, after all I live in a desert, but in the summer time when it rains here it can really come down, not like I saw in the rain forest of Okinawa where it rains continuously for 3 months when the monsoon comes, but almost.You know that on tops of the mountains here, where the ski resorts are, that they average a 12 foot base in the winter months. Now that is a lot of snow.
