We had heavy snow last night again so I cannot even see my gardens sites again. But even beneath the snow some of the perenials are starting to shoot and bulbs come up. I just hope they survive this freezing snap. The sun is out today but it is -6 C outside in the middle of the day.

Butterfly 1950

So good to read you again, been too long and it's nice to read of your gardening and getting some tips from Kabu, she is a marvel here at the greenery and flowers. I'm next to useless because I can't even dig much for her.Love you being here and I'll try and read you more often.

Yesterday I was toying with the thought of wearing shorts - today this part of the world is covered in snow, and there's a blizzard out there as I'm writing this! Maybe it's time to buy a Christmas tree...

I can't seem to get warm today.  There's just something about one day the temp being 83o, and a day and a half later it is snowing.

Gee, it looks as though everyone is anxious to get their gardens under way! My wife likes lots of flowers scattered about the yard too; makes everything look pretty! And please, don't mention wind! We still have a few 'leaning' trees that were compromised by Hurricane Sandy! Wind is now our 'enemy' . . .

Perhaps you need a roll of fleece 30f sounds a bit cold. Soon the ground will feel warm and then you will be OK.
