I have the same thing set up on my phone, but it does nothing for those computer-generated messages in which there's not even a real person doing the selling.  It's also at the tail end of the message, so I have no idea who the company is.  Just that it's very important that I ACT NOW or risk missing out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

I hate dat!

I usually just tell them not to call back...ever again...
About ten years ago some guy called me up early in the morning and caught me hungover...him I threatened to shoot; they never called back but I'm lucky I didn't wind up on terrorist threat charges.

Ask them to stop!
When they call you, request that they remove you from their calling lists.  If they call back after that, you can legally take action against them.  I did that with Qwest Communications.  They called me many times a week for a long time (one day they even called me twice within one hour).  Finally I told them to remove me from their list.  They didn't.  The next time I got a call I notified the authorities.  I never heard from them again.
