I really agree with you here. My Grandson got so into these games for so long that he is not going to get the marks that he should have now he is in his last year at school. Oh yes, he willl get into a University, but not the best that he could have. And he was anti social for a long time with those damn games too.

I believe it depends on the game itself, and the venue. There's a few I was addicted to over the years, but not to the point where it made me anti-social. However, I've read that some video games, like crossword puzzles and quiz shows, are very good exercises for the brain! Like anything else, moderation is the key. Sometimes I like to relax with a good game of Tetris II . . .
