Interesting analysis. I'm so happy that neither I nor my wife fit into any of those categories! I myself am the fourth child in a family of six children, and although we all have our own personalities and character traits, there was never any 'alpha' or 'omega' struggles amongst us, and we all ended up doing our own things. I suppose we would have to consider ourselves very fortunate . . .

you are great. writing is such a wonderful way to work things in one's own mind. keep going our friend.
My mother was number 4 in a family of 7 ....the middle child...often forgotten about..always someone older doing something, always someone younger sick or needing attention. She always said that she would have loved more of her parents time.

I read a book years ago about children and their roles. Each child depending on birth order takes a set role....each child will have different personality traits depending on what they older siblings are already doing....I wish I could remember the title....
